Announcements

Thank you to Tennyson and his crew for coming in to help with media improvements and nursery updates! We are so grateful for the time, effort, and care you all invest in serving our church. Your willingness to use your gifts behind the scenes helps create welcoming, functional spaces for our congregation and families. Thank you for all that you do - we truly appreciate you and all of our volunteers quietly working away with a servant heart! 😊

Upcoming Sabbatical

After about seven years of faithful ministry at WRCC, our Youth Pastor, Josiah, will be taking a sabbatical from June 15 - September 8 as Josiah and his family embrace this special season.

We are deeply thankful for the care, energy, and leadership he has poured into our youth and church community over the years. Sabbaticals provide an important opportunity for shalom, renewal, and focused family time, and we would encourage our church family to lovingly support this by respecting his time away and allowing space for rest and connection with his growing family.

Please keep him, Martha, and baby Benjamin in your prayers during this meaningful season. We look forward to warmly welcoming Josiah back in the fall.

Our Coffee Klatsch group was recently recognized and deeply thanked by BC Children's Hospital and Women's Hospital for their kind donations of knit hats and dolls. What a beautiful difference they are making during challenging times for these patients.

If you have some left over yarn to give, no matter how small the balls are, they can use all kinds of sizes and colours. You can leave them with Deanna in the office or connect with Henny directly.

Coffee Klatsch meets on the last Tuesday of every month at 10am in our Fellowship Hall downstairs and everyone is welcome.

Visitation Update

A kind donation of stuffed bears has brought such joy through Becky’s visitation ministry. As Becky and her team has shared them with residents, it has been beautiful to see faces light up at receiving these sweet gifts.

Please continue praying for this ministry. If you would like to join or offer support, you can reach out to Becky.

Mystery Club: Investigating the Truth of Jesus

Get ready for an exciting week of discovery, creativity, and fun! At Mystery Club, kids will step into the role of investigators as we explore the truth of Jesus through engaging Bible stories, real-life stories of faith, and hands-on activities.

Each day will include fun games, interactive challenges, and time to build friendships, along with a snack to keep everyone energized.

Kids will be encouraged to ask questions, think deeply, and discover how the story of Jesus connects to their own lives.

This program is designed for elementary-aged kids and offers a safe, welcoming environment where every child can belong, learn, and have a great time.

We can’t wait to investigate together!

If you have any questions about registering or the program, please contact our Director of Children's Ministry:

God in My Everything by Ken Shigematsu

"God in My Everything" by Ken Shigematsu is a spiritual guide helping busy people integrate faith into daily life through a "rule of life"—a personal rhythm of spiritual practices. It teaches that God can be experienced in work, family, and leisure, not just quiet solitude, fostering a deeper connection with Jesus.
