It was a beautiful and meaningful day together — filled with honest reflection, encouragement, worship, prayer, and reminders of God’s faithful presence even in life’s most difficult seasons. We are so grateful to Mimi Dixon for sharing so openly and thoughtfully, and to Carolyn Arends and Josiah Wall for leading us so beautifully in worship. Thank you as well to all of the volunteers who helped prepare food, welcome guests, decorate, serve, clean up, and quietly care for countless details behind the scenes. Your generosity helped create a warm and restful space for everyone who attended. We are deeply thankful for the care, energy, and leadership he has poured into our youth and church community over the years. Sabbaticals provide an important opportunity for rest, renewal, and focused family time, and we would encourage our church family to lovingly support this by respecting his time away and allowing space for rest and connection with his growing family. Please keep him, Martha, and baby Benjamin in your prayers during this meaningful season.
