We’re Looking for Volunteers!
Do you have a heart for ministry and a passion to serve? There are many opportunities to get involved at White Rock Community Church, whether you enjoy working with kids, welcoming people, helping behind the scenes, using your creative or technical skills, or simply lending a hand where it’s needed.
Not sure where you fit? That’s okay! Fill out our quick volunteer survey and tell us a little about your interests and which services you are available for (9:15am, 11am or both).
We’ll connect with you and help find an opportunity that’s a great fit. No experience necessary. Training and support will be provided!
Current Volunteer Support: 2 Services Volunteer Preferences ⬆️

Movie Night: Winter's End
On a cold winter day a mysterious stranger shows up at the Witting Farm. He is John Witting, the father of Jacob Witting who abandoned Jacob and his mother when Jacob was little. Jacob is very hurt by what his father did to him many years ago that he won't have anything to do with him to which his wife Sarah must do everything to bring Jacob and his father back together again for the sake of Jacob and his three children Anna, Caleb, and Cassie who love their grandfather very much.
Everyone welcome. Bring a snack to share and a friend to join in! Enter around the back by the parking lot.

Plan to Protect Training
Please join us for our yearly required Plan to Protect Training for those working with vulnerable sectors (children, youth, vulnerable adults). This is a 2.5 hour course with lunch provided. This training is mandatory to serve the vulnerable sector for 2026.
The refresher course will take place in the Fellowship Hall and the Orientation (for new volunteers) will take place in the Nursery.
Thank you for giving your time to this important training to ensure the safety of our community.
Children’s Ministry Needs You!
We’re thankful to share that great progress has been made in building our Nursery team!
We are still looking for 4 adult Nursery volunteers who would be willing to be on-call for the 11:00am service in case Nursery care is needed. On your scheduled Sunday, we ask that you remain available in the Nursery until 11:15am to allow for any late arrivals. If no Nursery care is needed by then, you can head into the service.
Please connect with Deanna for more information, or click the Volunteer Application button a little further down in this newsletter.
External Events
Move for Malawi
Thank you, White Rock Community Church, for your support and prayers! And thank you to everyone who participated in and donated to our recent Move for Malawi, our second event this season. We were blessed with a beautiful sunny day, walking through Crescent Park and sharing lunch afterward.
Together, across both events, we raised an incredible $50,990, and with a matching grant of $25,000, that brings our total to $75,990! All of this goes to support some of the poorest people in Malawi. We are now on our way, and we feel truly privileged to be able to make this kind of impact because of your generosity.
