Updates
Hear Every Word, Clearly
We’re excited to offer Assisted Listening at White Rock Community Church for the hearing impaired! Using our assisted listening system, you can hear the service audio directly through your own device.
We encourage you to download the ListenWIFI app on your smartphone and connect using your own Bluetooth headphones, earbuds, or compatible hearing aids. If you don’t have a compatible device, we also have two Assisted Listening receivers available to borrow. Just ask the sound technician for assistance.
Our goal is simple: to make it easier for everyone to hear, participate, and stay connected throughout the service.
Volunteer Availability
The ministries that Deanna schedules are:
- Children's Ministry (Ministry Lead: Deanna)
- Communion (Ministry Lead: Pastor Steve with Deanna)
- Greeters (Ministry Lead: Harmen)
- Counters (Ministry Lead: Harmen)
These ministries should have received an email asking volunteers to update their availability for the upcoming schedule. Deanna will be scheduling volunteers for September through November this round.
Please update your availability directly through the link in that email, through your apps (Services or Church Center), or connect with Deanna in the church office if you need any help.
You’ll also find a few short instructional videos at the bottom of this newsletter to guide you through the process using the apps. If it’s easier, you’re welcome to simply send your unavailable dates to office@wrcconline.com, and Deanna will be happy to update them for you.
With our two services beginning September 20, there will be some adjustments within our ministries as we prepare for this transition.
Please keep an eye on your email over the coming weeks as we work through the details and communicate any changes that may affect you or the ministry you serve in.

Fall Kick off
Join us for a time of fellowship and fun after the service on Sunday, September 13, as we celebrate our Fall Kick-Off!
We’ll enjoy delicious gourmet sausages from the Taste of Heaven Food Truck, with the added bonus of supporting NightShift Ministries in the process.

We had a great week of Summer Camp with the kids! We had a great group and committed volunteers to bring it all to life.

Decorations: Lead by Madeline’s vision and direction, everything came together so well! A huge thank you to Christina, Joni, and so many from our crew above who pitched in - including taking projects home to work on - and to Kayla for even sanding wood for her projects. It truly took a team, and the end result was amazing!
And then there were the chairs! 😂 I don’t even know everyone who helped get them moved, but thank you!! Jacob has been such a great support, and a special thank you to him and Mark for coming in on Friday to help get all those chairs back into place. Tennyson always gets his foot in the door to help out too - thank you.
Teamwork makes the dream work indeed!
While it’s sad to see our summer internship come to an end, we are so thankful for the time we’ve had with Madeline and Kayla this summer!
We wish Madeline a wonderful year at university, and we’re grateful that Kayla will still be able to volunteer with us throughout the year.
We’ve all learned a lot through our first summer internship program, and Deanna is especially thankful for the opportunity to have Madeline and Kayla serve alongside her. Their time with us has been a huge blessing to our church - and especially to our kiddos!

🌍 Move for Malawi 2026 Is LIVE! 🌱
We're kicking things off and inviting YOU to join the movement and help us raise $50,000 for life-changing programs in Malawi through Stand as One Ministry!
👟 Join us on September 5 at 10:00 am at Crescent Park for a walk, followed by a lunch and Mitongwe update. Everyone is welcome! Bring the whole family, kids included, and if walking isn't your thing, no worries at all! Skip the walk and come straight to the lunch for the food, fun, and fellowship.
